Chilling bodycam footage has been released of the moment Nashville shooter, Anthony Warner, was killed in a massive explosion that rocked the city on Christmas Day.
The video, which was captured by a police officer’s body-worn camera, shows the moments before and after the explosion that destroyed much of downtown Nashville.
At the beginning of the video, officers can be seen responding to reports of an RV parked outside an AT&T building playing a recording of a woman’s voice urging people to evacuate the area, warning that a bomb would go off soon.
As officers cordoned off the area and attempted to evacuate nearby buildings, the RV suddenly exploded, sending debris flying through the air and causing a massive explosion that was felt for miles around.
In the chaos that followed, officers can be heard shouting and sirens blaring as they try to assess the damage and secure the area. It is at this point that the bodycam footage captures Warner’s lifeless body lying on the ground near the blast site.
