Investigation into Aaron Carter’s Death Unlikely, Says Forensic Death Investigator Joseph Scott Morgan

The death of pop singer Aaron Carter, at the age of 33, shocked his fans and left many questions unanswered. His mother, Jane Schneck, recently posted photos of the bathroom where her son died, expressing concerns about the investigation into his death.
According to Schneck, foul play was ruled out too quickly, and she believes that there are unanswered questions about what really happened to her son. She alleges that someone may have been involved in his death, and is calling for a reinvestigation into the matter.
However, forensic death investigator Joseph Scott Morgan has explained that the challenge of reopening an investigation into the singer’s death at this point in time, especially since his body has been cremated, is significant.
“The body’s gone. You can pretty much kiss any kind of investigation goodbye,” said Morgan. “Any type of botanical or entomological evidence whether it’s fly larvae or anything like this, that ship has sailed.”

The photos posted by Schneck show the bathroom where Carter died, along with his belongings, including a deadbolt lock from the door. She claims that the lock was broken, and that her son was alone at the time of his death.
The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber recently discussed the potential case with Morgan, exploring the possibility of a reinvestigation into Carter’s death.
“The reality is, unless there is something very, very pointed, very specific that comes to light that can be acted on, there’s not going to be any kind of movement,” said Morgan.
He explained that even if there was evidence of foul play, it would be difficult to investigate at this point because so much time has passed and there is no body to examine.
Carter, who rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s as a child star, had struggled with personal and legal issues in recent years. His death was ruled an accidental drug overdose by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
The coroner’s report stated that Carter died from a combination of fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine. The report also noted that Carter had a history of drug abuse and mental health issues.
Carter’s death led to an outpouring of condolence messages from fans and fellow celebrities. His family, however, continues to demand answers about his death.
At this point, the chances of a reinvestigation into Carter’s death are slim. The absence of physical evidence, along with the passage of time, makes it unlikely that anything new will be discovered.
The case is a reminder of the importance of seeking help for mental health and drug addiction issues, and also highlights the difficulty of investigating cases where the body has been cremated or is otherwise unavailable for examination.
While the world may never know the full details of what happened to Aaron Carter, his legacy lives on through his music and the memories he left behind for his fans and loved ones.
