Epstein Papers Released with Prominent Names In a trial concerning the accomplice of sexual offender Epstein, Maxwell, documents have been released that contain the names of prominent individuals. However, being part of Epstein’s network does not necessarily mean direct involvement in criminal activities. In the scandal surrounding sexual violence perpetrated by US multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein, a court has released the real names of approximately 170 individuals, who were previously mostly treated anonymously. They were mentioned in a civil dispute between Virginia Giuffre, a victim from the USA, and Epstein’s longtime partner Ghislaine Maxwell. The over 900 pages of court documents include the previously known names of former US President Bill Clinton and British Prince Andrew, both of whom were considered associates of Epstein. It’s important to note that being mentioned in the court records does not imply active participation in Epstein’s criminal network. The mention only proves that the respective names came up in the civil lawsuit against Epstein’s accomplice, Maxwell. Some individuals on the list are relatives of Epstein’s sexual violence victims. Clinton and Prince Andrew named specifically Clinton, previously referred to as “John Doe 36” in the trial, reportedly did not object to his name being revealed. He is said to have met with Epstein multiple times and also used his private jet. Similarly, Prince Andrew’s name appears frequently. In 2022, Andrew managed to avoid a civil trial related to Epstein’s network. Despite allegations from US plaintiff Virginia Giuffre, he never publicly admitted to having had sex with her when she was a minor. Decades of sexual crimes at Epstein’s properties Epstein was arrested in July 2019. The well-connected businessman is accused of committing sexual violence against numerous girls, including minors, and also facilitating their abuse by other men. Approximately one month after his arrest, Epstein was found dead in his cell at the age of 66. The official cause of death was reported as suicide. These sexual crimes allegedly took place at Epstein’s properties in New York, Florida, Santa Fe, and the Virgin Islands for decades. An earlier indictment against Epstein resulted in a highly favorable plea deal for the entrepreneur, making him a symbol of a societal elite that escapes accountability for their crimes. Mention of Trump, Hawking, and Jackson Epstein’s connections to prominent figures and his death have led to numerous rumors and conspiracy theories. The release of the newly revealed documents had also sparked speculation. The writings mention former President Donald Trump, but solely in the context of a witness’s testimony stating that she had never had any sexual contact with him. On the other hand, the mentions of musician Michael Jackson and astrophysicist Stephen Hawking appear to be new. They seem to suggest the presence of these celebrities at one of Epstein’s events, at least on one occasion.
